I work with your thoughts, feelings and physical processes to help you achieve your goals. I’m interested in what aspects of yourself you pay attention to and which aspects you tend to dismiss. I like helping people expand their awareness of themselves and integrate their thoughts with their feelings, especially when they seem separate and at odds.
Clients often come to see me because they feel disconnected from the world or people around them. Sometimes their relationships are unsatisfactory. They notice things they do that they aren’t happy with but struggle to change. They want to both talk about their problems and experiment with different ways in which they can respond to them. They are open to working with their physical experience (even if they are sometimes scared of it!) and working with our relationship in therapy as it unfolds.
Like all UKCP registered psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors I can work with a wide range of issues, but here are some areas in which I have a special interest or additional experience.
