As an existential psychotherapist, my approach is collaborative and relational. Having trained in other modalities I also draw upon psychodynamic, systemic and cognitive theories in my work with clients.
I qualified as a psychologist in 1994 and then specialised and registered as a pychotherapist in 1997. I worked in the NHS for more than a decade and was Consultant Psychologist in Psychotherapy. I have experience of working with a range of emotional and psychological difficulties and with men and women from a wide range of backgrounds. My work is always informed by attention to such factors as cultural background, disability and sexual orientation. As an integrative practitioner, my approach to psychotherapy is influenced by existential, psychodynamic and cognitive theories. During the coronavirus pandemic I will only be seeing clients online.

Like all UKCP registered psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors I can work with a wide range of issues, but here are some areas in which I have a special interest or additional experience.
