I work analytically with individuals and groups. We work together to build up an honest and confidential conversation from session to session which accepts all that you as client bring and which troubles you. I work to bring further insight into your problems which in turn leads you to produce your own insights all of which combine bring relief and understanding and change. I have large experience across a wide range of problems in human relationships and mental symptomology. My concentration is on the person as a whole as well as what they suffer from.
I work with individuals and conduct group-analytic psychotherapy groups. I run groups in Canterbury and work with individuals a few miles from the city. I have worked with a wide range of individuals over a considerable number of years' practice in private, NHS and Third Sector employment. I provide supervision for therapists in groups and individually. I have been Course Coordinator at a training course in group psychotherapy for 13 years, conducted training, experiential as well as psychotherapy groups in public and private settings across three decades.
Like all UKCP registered psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors I can work with a wide range of issues, but here are some areas in which I have a special interest or additional experience.
