Integretive Psychotherapy
My Work:
A UKCP and BACP Registered psychotherapist, I offer a skilled, ethical and confidential service. Each person I work with is a unique individual and I work towards developing a relationship with you where you feel met, understood and respected.
Because each person who comes to see me is different, how we work together will depend on you, on your goals, and on the sorts of difficulties you are experiencing. As we get to know each other, and trust develops, therapy increasingly becomes a time and place where you feel able to talk with me about the most difficult aspects of your experience.
With 25 years of clinical experience, I offer a skilled, ethical and confidential service. I work predominantly longer term although I have extensive experience of working short to medium term, from 6 to 40 sessions.
Areas of difficulty I frequently work with include:
Anxiety and depression
Relationships with others/ family conflicts
Bereavement and loss
Self-destructive behaviours
Transitions
Body image concerns
Creative blocks and procrastination
Masculinity and men’s issues
Sexual identity and sexual orientation
Like all UKCP registered psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors I can work with a wide range of issues, but here are some areas in which I have a special interest or additional experience.
