I have a warm and open approach, enabling clients to feel comfortable and at ease as they begin therapy. I offer a non-judgemental, compassionate and confidential space where clients can express their feelings and explore some of the difficulties and challenges they may be experiencing. My integrative psychotherapy training means I am not fixed to one modality or one school of thought. I work collaboratively with clients to adapt my psychotherapy practice to their needs, understanding that everyone’s experience of life is different. Many choose talking therapy, but for those less able to verbalise their thoughts and feelings I introduce various art forms to the therapy space to enable clients to express themselves through other means.
Hello. I am an Integrative Psychotherapist with an MA in Integrative Arts Psychotherapy (Distinction). I offer both talking therapy and art therapy to individuals, whether face-to-face, online or via telephone. I work in private practice at The Awareness Centre in Clapham on Wednesdays and online on Thursdays.
I feel privileged to work with a diverse range of clients from many cultures and socio-economic backgrounds and I am committed to working inclusively. I am accredited by the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and follow its standards of proficiency. I also abide by the UKCP’s ethical framework for good practice. I receive regular supervision and am committed to continued growth and development as a psychotherapist through regular trainings.
My work in the NHS, the charity sector and in private practice has enabled me to support clients with a wide range of presenting issues, including drug and alcohol addiction and recovery, domestic violence and sexual abuse, personality disorders, PTSD, bereavement, loss, and long-term illness.
Like all UKCP registered psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors I can work with a wide range of issues, but here are some areas in which I have a special interest or additional experience.
