My Approach

I work integratively, (meaning that I use a range of approaches, to ensure that I find the best one for each client) with Transactional Analysis as my starting point.
I strongly believe that finding the right therapist for YOU is part of the success of therapy, so I offer a free 30-minute, no-obligation online initial consultation to help you decide if I am the right therapist for you.
I work on a flexible basis to suit client's needs, offering day, evening and weekend appointments. I can work face-to-face, online or over the telephone. I also offer 'walk and talk' appointments which can be less threatening for some people as well as exploring the benefits of being outdoors in some of East Yorkshire's beautiful countryside.
I can work creatively with toys, clay, playdough, paints etc which can also help when words just can't explain your feelings and emotions.
I offer a flexible approach to fees with charges from £40 per appointment - please contact me for more information about this.
The thought of talking to a stranger might seem daunting, and that's perfectly natural, but I can promise you safe, non-judgemental and confidential space where your thoughts and concerns are the most important thing, and where you can talk openly about whatever is bothering you.
I can promise you that you will be listened to and whatever is concerning you will be taken very seriously. You will be treated with the utmost respect. Your thoughts, feelings and experiences matter, together we can work to moving you towards being the very best you, you can be.

I'm Tracey, former teacher, qualified and accredited counsellor, qualified psychotherapist, wife, mum, step-mum and granny. I know how stressful life can be and how things can get on top of us at times. I'm passionate about helping people deal with stressful situations, allowing the best you to shine out again.
