My training was initially as an integrative counsellor and psychotherapist. With an integrative approach I aim to put the needs and aims of the client first. I have over 20 years of experience as a therapist and have worked with a wide range of issues. I also am a university lecturer on an MSc course in counselling, so am constantly keeping up to date with new developments and approaches.
I offer a non-judgemental space to explore your issue and together we will work on finding the best approach for you. With training in a range of different therapeutic approaches, and also mindfulness, ACT and hypno-psychotherapy, I work with my clients to collaboratively develop the way of working to suit the needs of the individual.
Some of the issues that I can help with include:
- feeling low, depressed and without motivation
- feeling very anxious and worried
- suffering from with panic attacks
- stress at work or at home
- struggling to manage your anger
- difficulty with decision making
- the loss of a loved one
- a wish to explore yourself further
- lack of confidence and self-esteem
- getting used to big changes in life
- mild eating disorders
I am a counsellor at an FE college in North London and also have worked as counsellor at the London Contemporary Dance School. Before training as a psychotherapist and in psychology, I trained as a professional musician at the Royal Academy of Music.
Counselling offers a non-judgemental space to explore your issue and together we will work on finding the best approach for you.
I am very passionate about my work as a therapist and am dedicated to helping work with my clients to help them make the changes they want.
I am based in Enfield, near Enfield Town and can also see clients in Palmers Green, or if you prefer we can work online.
