About Me

I am a registered and accredited Pyschotherapist, qualified since 1998, with postgraduate training in Counselling and Psychotherapy. As a Graduate Member of the British Psychological Society (GMBPsS), I bring over 25 years of clinical and consultancy experience across healthcare, education, and both public and private sectors.

Special Interests

Like all UKCP registered psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors I can work with a wide range of issues, but here are some areas in which I have a special interest or additional experience.

In addition I hold a PG Diploma & an MA in Counselling & Psychotherapy. I have spent my career advocating for the mental health & wellbeing of others; with excellent relationship management skills. I am a calm, innovative mindful individual. Able to work remotely, online and in person I have a proven record of clinical delivery and facilitation. Working as a Consultant I have led on a variety of projects. Clients Include: Stanford University, Berlin School of Management, Health & Safety Executive, National Probation Services, NHS, Public Sector Local Government, UK private health sector. I currently work internationally online and in person, most recently as a Clinical Lead in CAMHS for the NHS, following an interim short stint on the personality disorder pathway offering structured clinical management to emotionally unstable personality disorder presentations in individuals & groups. I especially enjoy working with complex emotional needs, those with a dual diagnosis and who struggle to regulate their emotions and responses. Able to explore their patterns and processes sensitively & carefully. I especially appreciate, and recognise the full worth of working with adolescents 18-25 in particular those in transition presenting with self harming and associated difficulties.
I am trained (NHS) in Trauma informed approaches.
