My initial training was in psychosynthesis, a holistic transpersonal approach which recognises the interconnection of body, mind and spirit. This is a modality that informs me in much of my clinical work. Additional training and experience has enriched my practice to draw on a range of therapeutic approaches which enable me to work flexibly to meet individual client needs. These include mindfulness based approaches, psychodynamic, trauma informed practice and somatic experiencing.
I am an experienced UKCP registered and BACP Accredited psychotherapist based in Waterbeach, just North of Cambridge and online. I began my training in psychotherapy after many years working in education as a teacher, school senior leader and as a specialist in early years education and SEND.
Like all UKCP registered psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors I can work with a wide range of issues, but here are some areas in which I have a special interest or additional experience.
