UKCP has moved to York House, 221 Pentonville Road, London N1 9UZ. We are updating the address listed in all our documents, please bear with us as we make these changes.
I am a trauma and attachment focused psychotherapist who integrates the arts and creative ways of working with the individuals and families that I support. My approach promotes resilience, self-awareness and relationship building to empower more positive life choices. As a child and adolescent psychotherapist, I will always have the child/young person at the centre and will take a systemic approach with family and teachers in order to get the best outcomes for the child/young person.
I have a passion for learning and a sense that the more that I know, the more that I have to learn. I have completed numerous trainings in order that I may best support my clients. These include, Somatic Experiencing, NeuroAffective Touch, Integral Somatic Psychology, NeuroAffective Relational Model, EMDR, DDP, CATT, NVR and Foundations of Internal Family Systems.
I founded and run a children's mental health charity, Kids Inspire, in 2007 in order to fill the gaps in mental health services for children and young people. Every child/young person should have a trusted adult that they can turn to at times of stress and overwhelm.
Like all UKCP registered psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors I can work with a wide range of issues, but here are some areas in which I have a special interest or additional experience.
