My Approach

I offer a warm, safe environment, encompassing the Person-Centred conditions of empathy, congruence and unconditional positive regard, which allows the client to bring themselves and their experiences without fear of judgement. I seek to work together with clients, providing guidance and support in the process of self-discovery and healing.
My life experiences have allowed me to explore and understand further the complex external and internal pressures we put on ourselves, and I have wide experience in working with the concepts of guilt, shame, and low self-confidence/self-esteem.
With a background in Human Resources, I have broad experience in workplace issues and conflict resolution, and having lived in two different countries due to my multi-heritage background, I have been privileged to work with people from a variety of ethnic and cultural backgrounds. This has only further supported my belief that relating to another person, and valuing the diversity and uniqueness of each client and their experiences, facilitates profound and powerful understanding, growth, and positive change and movement.
At the core of my practice and work, is a focus on the importance and value of the client truly being heard and seen, and that the client themselves is in the driving seat of their own recovery.
