My clients describe me as warm and direct. I believe a strong therapeutic relationship lays the groundwork for effective therapy. I combine Psychodynamic, humanistic, Gestalt and body awareness, alongside consulting the latest developments in Neuroscience and Attachment research. This integrative approach gives us a range of options and means that together we can find the ideal way of working that suits you. I don't give advice in sessions but may help you identify patterns, inconsistencies and strengths you may not be aware of.
I believe that therapy can begin to yield results in a relatively short period of time and we will regularly evaluate how therapy is helping you and what might be missing. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions.
I am a UKCP and HCPC registered psychotherapist and art psychotherapist. I work with individuals, in private practice, the NHS and charities, specialising in supporting people through acute or persistent personal challenges. I have experience with a wide range of people and have particular experience with trauma, ADHD, anxiety, emotional dysregulation and clients who have difficulties in family, romantic or work relationships. I offer the option of using the arts and active imagination in sessions, as many clients find using art and metaphor useful in pinpointing and effectively working through problems. I have specialised training in Babette Rothschild's Safe Trauma therapy and Solutions' Focused Therapy. I have a private practice in Chiswick and in Islington. I offer a welcoming space for people of all races, ethnicities and sexual orientations.
Like all UKCP registered psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors I can work with a wide range of issues, but here are some areas in which I have a special interest or additional experience.
