My Approach

I am passionate about facilitating transformation and healing, and providing a safe and confidential space where you can bring all of your Self, your feelings, your pain, your joy and dreams, your frustrations, your wisdom, your light and shadows.
I offer one to one and couple/relationship therapy sessions.
My approach is Relational, Integrative and Transpersonal (Spiritual).
Sessions mainly involve talking, but breathing exercises, mindfulness, meditation and creativity may also be useful.
Psychotherapy is a word that derives from ancient Greek and means 'liberating the soul'. Our sessions together are an opportunity to talk about concerns and issues that might be difficult to share with family and friends and that might feel overwhelming to deal with alone.

It is a chance to feel supported, gain insight and make positive changes, in a way which respects your values, personal resources and freedom of choice.
Sessions mainly involve talking, but breathing exercises, mindfulness, meditation and creativity may also be useful.

If this is something that could be healing for you, please get in touch to find out more or to book an initial consultation.

Special Interests

Like all UKCP registered psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors I can work with a wide range of issues, but here are some areas in which I have a special interest or additional experience.

I have a particular interest in working with people whose concerns or anxieties date back to childhood and teenage years, and how this might impact on their work and relationships. I’m also interested in exploring spiritual, religious and philosophical concerns.
I have a special interest in working with couples. I offer Couples & Intimate Relationship Therapy. My approach is transpersonal and integrative and takes a positive view of relationships, suggesting they are spaces for psychological, emotional, and spiritual growth. Challenges aren't seen as negative but as opportunities for healing and transformation. In our sessions, I'll help you explore and address these issues, guiding you and your partner back to your best selves.
