Starting your therapeutic journey can be a daunting experience. Doubts may creep in about:
- what therapy might involve;
- pouring your heart out to a stranger;
- finding the time or energy for sessions;
- what others might say if they found out you are seeing a therapist; or
- why you need to talk to someone when others seem fine on their own.
I am a Counsellor and Psychotherapist working within an Integrative Humanistic model which means I create a contained safe and confidential space where you feel secure enough to talk about and express your fears and concerns. This facilitates your growth, reaching the level of clarity to best engage with your life and live it authentically.

I have studied at the reputable Metanoia Institute in London and gained hands-on experience working with clients in various low-cost counselling settings (Metanoia Counselling and Psychotherapy Service, Ealing Abbey Counselling Services), as well as in Mental Health Familiarisation Placements (CAPE Acton and NHS West London). I speak four languages (Romanian, French and Spanish) and have an innate ability to create an empathic and holding space to explore your feelings, thoughts and patterns of behaviours. I take you on a journey of exploration: where you've been, where you are at, and where you want to go, and we explore together what may hold you back from reaching your true potential. I build therapeutic relationships based on trust and rapport with clients that facilitate growth and create supportive and fruitful therapeutic relationships by using my interpersonal skills and expertise in Humanistic techniques.
Quoting Martin Luther King Jr., I believe that you do not have to see the whole staircase to take the first step. Whether you have been contemplating therapy for some time or it is the first time you look it up, I believe it is important to take that first step towards understanding what nudges you towards seeking therapy, without necessarily having a pre-set/complete plan.
Like all UKCP registered psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors I can work with a wide range of issues, but here are some areas in which I have a special interest or additional experience.
