Within my practice I draw on systemic ideas and theory alongside my experience of working in mental health services as a Registered Mental Health Nurse for over a decade. I believe in evidence based practice as well as drawing on practice based evidence.
I have a speciality in working within psychosis as well as working with families in youth mental health services.
I have worked with couples where a partner may have received a diagnosis of a mental health condition that has impacted on their relationship/s. More recently I have been offering supervision to staff in mental health services and currently employed in a staff support service within the NHS. Overall I am passionate and invested in helping people make the changes they wish to achieve in order to have a more positive life.
I am a white heterosexual male based in Norwich Norfolk. I qualified as Mental Health Nurse in 2009 and gained my Msc in Systemic and family therapy in 2021 from the Tavistock and Portman. I practice out of Norwich and can offer face to face appointments as well as appointments on-line.
Like all UKCP registered psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors I can work with a wide range of issues, but here are some areas in which I have a special interest or additional experience.
