I work within an integrative psychotherapeutic model applying humanistic, developmental and relational theories. My way of working is compassion-based, trauma-informed and influenced by neuropsychology. These aspects of my approach enable me to support your growing understanding of your situation and to identify what supports and helps you.
The therapeutic effect of the therapy is enhanced by a supportive, collaborative relationship between me and you. In my practice, this involves getting to know you and your experiences and sustaining a collaboration between us in order to promote positive therapeutic process and work towards growth and change.
I offer individual therapy for adults (18 years of age or over). Individuals work with me on relationship difficulties, bereavement, anxiety and depression, burnout and stress.
I work collaboratively with individuals to help them to understand themselves and their lives better, to support them to make changes, or to recover from loss or trauma.
Clients see me in-person at my private practice in East Leeds or online by video call.
Please feel free to contact me for an introductory phone call (up to 15 minutes) to discuss therapy with me. If we both feel I can help you, we would agree to meet for an initial session for an assessment of what you need.
My fees: £57 for a session of up to 60 minutes.
Like all UKCP registered psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors I can work with a wide range of issues, but here are some areas in which I have a special interest or additional experience.
