As a Gestalt Psychotherapist, I provide a safe and welcoming space where we can explore your experiences in a way that feels authentic and meaningful to you. Gestalt therapy focuses on the present moment—what you’re feeling, thinking, and sensing right now. By bringing awareness to these experiences, we can uncover patterns in how you relate to yourself, others, and the world around you.
During our sessions, I may invite you to notice your body sensations, explore emotions, or reflect on how you’re feeling as we talk. Sometimes, we might use creative techniques, like imagining a conversation or trying out a new way of expressing yourself, to deepen your understanding. The aim is to help you connect more fully with yourself, recognize your needs, and make choices that align with who you truly are.
Gestalt therapy is a collaborative process. I believe you have the inner resources to grow and heal, and my role is to guide and support you in accessing them. By working together, we can help you feel more grounded, develop stronger relationships, and live in a way that feels more whole and fulfilling.
I’m a Gestalt Psychotherapist. I’ve spent the past six years training and five years working with clients, helping them navigate a wide range of challenges and supporting them in their journey toward personal growth and healing.
Before becoming a therapist, I worked with emergency service workers. That experience gave me a deep appreciation for the importance of mental health and the impact of high-pressure roles. It inspired me to train as a therapist so I could help people process their experiences, manage challenges, and build fulfilling lives.
During my training, I worked in placements with clients from Black, Asian, and other non-white backgrounds. These experiences were invaluable in helping me develop a culturally sensitive and inclusive approach, ensuring that everyone feels welcome, heard, and understood in the therapy space.
I work with a wide range of issues, including stress, anxiety, depression, neurodiversity, relationship challenges, bereavement, identity issues, and many others listed on my profile. My aim is to provide a warm, supportive, and non-judgmental environment where you can explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences at your own pace. Together, we’ll focus on what’s happening in the present moment to help you gain clarity, develop self-awareness, and create meaningful change in your life.
