Systemic therapists help individuals and families work through problems, taking account of relationships, situations, culture and other contexts and how these things influence us. It’s a way of looking at problems that reduces blame and helps people find new possibilities for solving problems or getting unstuck.
Therapist working with families, couples and individuals. I have a small private practice in central Glasgow alongside work as a family therapist in a national charity. I previously worked in the NHS both in CAMHS and adult mental health services supporting individuals and family members when someone in the family had a mental health diagnosis.
Like all UKCP registered psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors I can work with a wide range of issues, but here are some areas in which I have a special interest or additional experience.
