I am trained in integrative psychotherapy, which covers theory and practice from each of the main therapeutic schools: psychodynamic, person-centred and existential. I combine elements of each in my practice but I am primarily relational. This means exploring the way that relational patterns from your past are replayed in the present, including in the relationship between us. Fundamentally, I believe it is the relationship that heals, rather than a specific technique or solution.

I provide a safe and welcoming space for you to explore whatever is troubling you, past or present. I work in a collaborative, client-led way and my clients often find relief at being able to open up to a neutral person, exploring difficult emotions and situations without fear of judgement.
Through my training, volunteering and working I have been involved with counselling and psychotherapy for more than 12 years.
Like all UKCP registered psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors I can work with a wide range of issues, but here are some areas in which I have a special interest or additional experience.
