My approach is tailored to the individual in a gradual process co-created by me and the client. This often begins with some sharing of significant events and often evolves into soulful discussions about what really matters in life. I am trained to use a variety of therapeutic tools such as gestalt chair work, use of artwork, creative visualisation and body psychotherapy but I only suggest these things in the moment if it feels intuitively like it might be helpful for the client.
I'm an integrative transpersonal psychotherapist which means that I've been trained in a number of therapeutic modalities. I would describe my style as relational and embodied which means I believe that being in relationship is key to the work that I do and also that working with the body and how you feel in the moment is key. My training was trauma informed and I've done a lot of work with members of the LGBTQ community.
I'm passionate about helping people heal and figure out how to navigate their lives with compassion and care.
Like all UKCP registered psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors I can work with a wide range of issues, but here are some areas in which I have a special interest or additional experience.
