I began my clinical training with a PGDip in integrative psychotherapy. I then went on to complete my MA in Psychotherapy & Counselling following an existential-phenomenological pathway, before completing a further PGCert in Existential Psychotherapy.
Whilst working with an organisation in South Oxfordshire I was able to complete an adolescent training and go on to have experience working with young people over fifteen. I also worked with a wide range of clients whilst volunteering for the mental health charity MIND
I have well established private practices in both central London and Berkhamsted, Hertfordshire.
We are all different and yet still connected. I bring different approaches to suit each person I work with but my practice is underpinned by a solid grounding in existential philosophy. This academic study is backed up by a practical, and importantly relational approach to exploring each persons experience of navigating life with all its joys and struggles. It is from this exploration of how we relate both to the world and those that live in it that we can find a way to understand ourselves and find clarity. I come from a creative arts background, this gives me a particularly collaborative and imaginative approach to working alongside my clients. I invite mutual respect and a shared open curiosity when exploring the client's experience of relationships and their world. I find this is often a way of revealing parts of ourselves we have not been able to see before. I offer a spacious, respectful environment to find answers to life's challenging questions.
