My approach is integrative, which means I draw upon several modalities including Psychodynamic (early life experiences and development), Humanistic (person centred and self-actualisation), Existential (the human condition with aspirations and limitations) and the Transpersonal (focusing on growth and potential).
I am a Psychotherapeutic Counsellor and I have 20+ years' experience working in substance abuse and addiction.
I provide support for a broad range of emotional issues including depression and anxiety; relationship problems; work and life related stress; health issues; loss and bereavement; trauma and abuse as well as addictions and compulsive behaviours.
Confidentiality, authenticity and integrity are the cornerstones of my work and I consider it a profound privilege to hold a safe space for my clients.
Like all UKCP registered psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors I can work with a wide range of issues, but here are some areas in which I have a special interest or additional experience.
