My Approach

As a family therapist, I have worked with children, teens and adults for over a decade. I offer a warm, open space and believe in an integrated therapeutic approach. I enjoy getting to know clients, understanding their lived experiences and working together to understand what support you need to live in the way that aligns with your values and needs.
Life can feel overwhelming and the ways we manage our overwhelm can cause us more distress. I offer a space that is authentic and reflective. I work in a trauma informed and human way; acknowledging that therapy can be hard and that mental burnout has huge impact on our lives. Support needs to be well-paced and individualised. Come as you are.

About Me

As an experienced family therapist in CAMHS and private practice, I have worked with individuals, couples and families for over 14 years. I specialise in working with relationships, self-harm, mood difficulties, emotional dysregulation and eating and body image difficulties. Alongside working with families and couples, I have a particular interest in supporting clients who are neurodiverse, diagnosed or self-diagnosed, to live in an authentic and unmasked way that aligns with their values. I provide a compassionate and open space and embrace working in a neuro-affirming way to support you to feel empowered and heard.

  • Children and young people
  • Couples
  • Families
  • Individuals

Special Interests

Like all UKCP registered psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors I can work with a wide range of issues, but here are some areas in which I have a special interest or additional experience.

I have a lot of experience with ADHD and helping clients to find ways to live with their ADHD rather than feeling in a battle with it.
I have a lot of experience working with autism and neurodiversity. This can mean supporting parents and families with how to be neuro affirming in family life or working with individuals to support them to develop strategies to live in an unmasked way. I have a strong interest in working with women who have had a later in life diagnosis of neurodiversity.
As a family therapist, I have a strong interest in how we form and maintain relationships throughout our lives. Couple therapy can be a space to talk and reflect together about the dynamics and communications that exist in our relationship and if these are servicing our shared goals and needs.
I have worked with client of all ages who have experienced eating disorders for a long time. It is vital to have a space to think about how eating has become a coping strategy and to feel safe to explore other means of supporting ourselves.
We all have an experience of 'family' in different ways and a space to talk and reflective on our experience of family and how this impacts is often a vital part of understanding ourselves.
