My Approach

I'm trained as a Humanistic, Integrative Psychotherapeutic Counsellor and qualified as both counsellor and coach. This dual qualification allows us to explore how your past affects your present while supporting practical plans for your future.

I work in a client-centred way, integrating psychodynamic psychotherapy, parts work (influenced by Internal Family Systems), somatic awareness, and neuroscience psychoeducation to help you understand your natural wisdom.

Depending on your needs, we can work exploratively through traditional talking therapy or take a more goal-oriented, future-focused approach.

About Me

I offer a gentle, non-judgmental space where you can explore your feelings at your own pace. You'll be heard, understood, and supported as we examine life patterns, their origins, and discover new ways of relating to yourself and others.

I'm a veterinary surgeon with over 20 years' experience, now working primarily as a psychotherapeutic counsellor. This background gives me deep understanding of the human-animal bond. Pets are welcome in sessions, and I work compassionately with bereaved pet owners and rescue facility staff navigating loss.

I specialise in supporting veterinary professionals (vets, nurses, allied staff) and other helping professionals (doctors, nurses, medical staff), particularly those experiencing workplace trauma or recovering from burnout. Visit www.vetamorphosis.co.uk for veterinary-specific resources.

I offer remote sessions via video or phone throughout the UK.
