UKCP has moved to York House, 221 Pentonville Road, London N1 9UZ. We are updating the address listed in all our documents, please bear with us as we make these changes.
I am particularly interested in the embodied and relational aspects of gestalt, supporting clients to get in touch with their emotions and sensations and to expand their range of possibilities. I also bring in techniques from Somatic Experiencing (Peter Levine) which can be very helpful for trauma work, building resilience and resetting the nervous system.
I am a creative therapist and enjoy venturing into the unknown with my clients. I believe that people are their own best experts and I see my role as supporting clients to discover themselves rather than pushing them towards some predefined notion of health or success.
I live in Canterbury and see clients in person and online. I am a psychotherapeutic counsellor in gestalt psychotherapy. For the last fifteen years of my life I was designing and maintaining gardens and through that work learned much about change, growth, and the interconnectedness of all things. When I began my own psychotherapeutic journey, I was delighted to discover gestalt therapy which fitted beautifully with my values and intuitions about healing and becoming.
Like all UKCP registered psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors I can work with a wide range of issues, but here are some areas in which I have a special interest or additional experience.
