My Approach

People come to therapy for many reasons, including difficulties with relationships or family life, challenging events such as bereavement, loss or trauma, and emotional distress such as anxiety, depression and obsessive thinking. I offer a collaborative and compassionate approach, with your goals and needs at the forefront: a safe and non-judgmental space where you can give voice to your life experiences and unhelpful thoughts, and we can explore together how best to understand them and make changes. Sometimes long-held beliefs about ourselves and where we fit in deserve to be challenged, allowing us to stop what happened in the past from dictating our future. Therapy can help you to live your best life – which is what we all deserve.

About Me

I am an Integrative Psychotherapist working with adults in North London, bringing my wide experience of providing therapy to individuals facing varied challenges. I work to bring clarity and understanding to the causes as well as the symptoms of mental distress, finding the most appropriate approach to support your individual needs. I work using a range of therapeutic approaches, including psychodynamic, (including attachment-based theory), person-centred and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT). I also work using the creative arts in addition to traditional talking therapy if that technique appeals to you. My approach is rooted in empathy and understanding. I amd flexible and endevour to find a schedule that works within your life and commitments.

I am registered with the UKCP (UK Council for Psychotherapy) and a member of the BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy). I am also registered with the HCPC (Health and Care Professions Council). I have worked as a psychotherapist both within the NHS, and across a number of mental health charities including MIND. I hold an M.A. as an Integrative Arts Psychotherapist, and an Advanced Diploma in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy Studies and Skills.
