My Approach

A Journey Towards Healing.
In a world that moves quickly, it is easy to feel lost, stuck, or overwhelmed. Healing is not just about talking through your problems; it is about reconnecting with yourself, discovering your own path, and transforming your relationship with your emotions, body, and mind.

I offer both in-person and online (via Zoom) therapy sessions, creating a supportive space where you can explore, understand, and heal at your own pace.

What Is Holding You Back?
Do you feel anxious, lost, or disconnected from who you truly are?
Are you caught in repeating patterns you do not fully understand which do not serve you?
Struggling with the loss of a loved one, career, or sense of self?
Seeking meaning, fulfilment, or a new direction in life?

Whatever you are facing, I am here to guide you on your journey. By exploring patterns and emotions together, we can create meaningful change.

How We Will Work Together:
Our work is not about “fixing” you, but rather uncovering the strengths, wisdom, and potential that already lie within you. Together, we will explore areas of your life where you feel stuck, overwhelmed, or unclear. This process will help you gain a deeper understanding of yourself and identify the patterns holding you back.

We will use a blend of somatic techniques and mindfulness to help you reconnect with your body and emotions while also building mental resilience. By understanding how your nervous system responds to stress, we can create a window of tolerance, allowing you to experience and process emotions without becoming overwhelmed

Through increased clarity and insight, we will focus on building confidence, inner strength, and self-awareness, so you can move forward with greater ease and purpose. This journey is about more than just coping with life’s challenges—it is about growing through them.

I specialise in anxiety, trauma, loss, and life transitions, offering an integrative approach, blending psychodynamic, humanistic, existential, and transpersonal perspectives with trauma-informed methods. I also incorporate neuroscience and somatic techniques, the polyvagal theory, mindfulness, and somatic EMDR, to help regulate your nervous system and process your emotions.

I believe that healing can come from a combination of understanding, movement, and self-exploration, so I use methods that encourage you to engage with different parts of yourself and help you explore and understand how past experiences influence your present life. My focus is on supporting you in processing these experiences in a way that feels right for you, helping you build resilience and self-awareness as you move forward.

Although the methods I use are evidence-based, my approach is flexible and client-led, always adjusting to what feels most supportive for you. I aim to create a space where we can address your experiences at your own pace, in a way that feels natural and empowering.

About Me

Originally from Belgium, I did an Erasmus exchange and worked in Germany before settling in the UK, where I have lived for just under 26 years, mainly in London. I now live and work in Cobham, Surrey. I am fluent in French, Dutch, German, and English. I have a background in finance and architecture and interior design, which shapes my structured yet creative approach to therapy.

I am a member of several professional networks, including the Surrey Counselling & Psychotherapy Initiative (SCPI) and the UKCP, and I regularly connect with international groups of Somatic EMDR therapists who have trained at The Embodylab and attend the annual trauma conference in Oxford in order to stay at the forefront of therapeutic developments.
