Life can throw challenges at us that prove too much for us to cope with on our own. I believe that we are not to blame for the difficulties we might face, and that they are the natural consequences of what we have experienced in life. If you are feeling stuck and unable to change things yourself, or repeating difficult and destructive patterns of behaviour, working with and talking with someone not involved in your life can help make profound change. Together we can explore what has helped to shape the way you are now, and how you want to be in the future.
I offer a safe, confidential and non-judgemental space in which to explore whatever life is throwing at you. I have experience in helping people with concerns such as anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, low self-esteem, troubling thoughts and feelings, panic attacks, trauma, sexual abuse and suicidal thoughts. I particularly enjoy working with couples and individuals to help improve relationships.
I offer a free initial conversation by phone or online, so we can both decide if we are a good fit for each other, as I believe that the relationship between us is a huge part in helping you to become the fullest expression of yourself.
I am a fully-qualified UKCP-registered psychotherapist. With a background in the arts, I studied at Metanoia Institute and gained an MSc in Transactional Analysis Psychotherapy.
I work with both individuals and couples, and run a support group for fathers. I have a particular interest in relationships and parenting, and am part of Our Evolution, a group supporting parents from pre-conception through their whole parenting journey.
I am happy to work over a limited number of sessions, or establish an open-ended therapeutic relationship that can last a number of years.
