My Approach

My approach to therapy is tailored to meet your unique needs and circumstances, with the therapeutic relationship playing a crucial role in the process. Integrative psychotherapy, which I practice, blends elements from various psychological theories and research to create a flexible and comprehensive approach.

In our sessions, your thoughts and feelings will be treated with the utmost respect and compassion. Therapy takes place in a private, confidential setting, offering you a space distinct from everyday life where we can explore your inner world. This time is dedicated solely to you and your journey toward healing and growth.

About Me

Hello, I'm Nujoji, a psychotherapist and counsellor in London, offering both in-person and online sessions. I am passionate about helping others, and I firmly believe that psychotherapy can create meaningful, positive changes in people's lives.

It's normal to feel lost or confused when dealing with emotional challenges, such as the end of a relationship, family issues, life transitions, or feeling overwhelmed by past events. If you’re experiencing anxiety, depression, or low self esteem, know that you are not alone—these are common human experiences.

Psychotherapy offers a supportive and non-judgmental space where you can reflect, explore, and address the difficulties you’re facing.

Special Interests

Like all UKCP registered psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors I can work with a wide range of issues, but here are some areas in which I have a special interest or additional experience.

My approach is tailored to address the unique challenges that come with ADHD, such as difficulty with focus, impulsivity, and managing emotions. I work collaboratively with clients to develop practical strategies for improving attention, organization, and emotional regulation. By providing a supportive and understanding environment, I help clients harness their strengths, navigate daily challenges, and achieve greater balance and success in their personal and professional lives.
I have significant experience as a psychotherapist working with individuals who struggle with anger and violent behaviour. My approach focuses on understanding the underlying causes of these emotions and behaviours, helping clients to explore their triggers, develop healthier choices, and build emotional resilience. By providing a safe and non-judgmental space, I assist clients in addressing their anger, learning to manage it constructively, and ultimately fostering more positive and peaceful relationships in their lives.
I have experience as a psychotherapist working with individuals exploring their cultural and ethnic heritage. I understand the profound impact that cultural identity, race, and ethnicity can have on a person's life and mental health. My approach is sensitive to the complexities of navigating cultural differences, discrimination, and the sense of belonging. I provide a respectful and inclusive space where clients can explore these issues, understand their cultural identities, and address any related challenges.
I have extensive experience as a psychotherapist working with survivors of child sexual abuse. My practice is informed by a deep understanding of the complex and lasting impact of trauma. I provide a safe, compassionate, and non-judgmental space for survivors to explore their experiences, process difficult emotions, and work towards healing. My approach is trauma-informed, recognising the importance of creating a supportive environment that respects each individual's pace and unique journey toward recovery.
As a clinical supervisor, I offer supervision sessions to individual and group practitioners working in independent practice and frontline staff and managers across organisations. I provide a collaborative, supportive and reflective supervisory space to ensure that supervision is dynamic, challenging, supporting, and motivating for yourself and your clients. Supervision is an essential component of the ongoing professional development of practitioners. The primary purpose of supervision is to throw light on the relationship between the client and practitioner and maintain high standards of care. Supervision fosters ongoing growth and development and is valuable for providing your clients with effective, ethical, and culturally responsive care. I have experience supervising practitioners working in independent practice, the emergency services and in the fields of child sexual abuse, forensic mental health, and personality difficulties.
