My approach is from a psychodynamic perspective, drawing on Transactional Analysis and Relational Psychoanalysis and the latest research in neuroscience and attachment theory. I provide a safe, confidential and non judgemental space for you to talk, so that together we can explore the difficulties and struggle you are experiencing. Together we would be working towards gaining more awareness of the underlying issues which might be causing some of the difficulties and struggles. Also, we would be recognising patterns in behaviours, feelings and thoughts and gain understanding around certain repetitions. Together, we would be working towards resolving these so that you can move forward and enjoy life to the full.
Are you feeling anxious, depressed? Are you experiencing relationship issues or unresolved family issues? Have you had a loss? Are you going through a challenging stage in your life or you are feeling stuck?
Talking to a counsellor /psychotherapist can help. I offer a safe, warm and non-judgmental space where you can explore your difficulties with the aim of moving forward in your life.
I have years of experience in working with people from different cultural backgrounds with the whole range of emotional difficulties. I offer both short and long-term therapy, face to face as well as via Skype/FaceTime.
In addition to my Master Degree in Psychotherapy (CTA), and a Degree in Psychology, I am also a fully qualified and accredited counsellor.
Like all UKCP registered psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors I can work with a wide range of issues, but here are some areas in which I have a special interest or additional experience.
