My Approach

My work is rooted in principles from Core Process Psychotherapy, and I’m inspired by the wisdom of the Dharma. This approach guides me to help clients access their inner resources and connect with a deeper sense of self. I am especially interested in understanding how early life experiences shape current struggles and in supporting clients to unravel the patterns that no longer serve them. My goal is to be alongside my clients as they heal, grow, and reconnect with themselves in ways that feel authentic and empowering.

In therapy, I value curiosity, genuine connection, and a touch of humor when it feels right. I am here to help you navigate challenging emotions, uncover new insights, and find a sense of peace and alignment within. If you are ready to explore and work through what’s holding you back, I am here to support you, with compassion, depth, and unwavering respect for your journey.

About Me

I am a compassionate and grounded therapist with a deep commitment to holding safe and non-judgmental space for my clients. In the therapy room, I bring a warm, attentive presence that allows my clients to feel seen and understood. I have a particular passion for working with issues around attachment, self-worth, trauma, and developmental wounding, and I take a holistic approach to exploring how these impact my clients’ lives.

Special Interests

Like all UKCP registered psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors I can work with a wide range of issues, but here are some areas in which I have a special interest or additional experience.

Sometimes we find ourselves living from identities that feel outgrown, conflicted, or imposed by others. In our work, I invite a gentle curiosity toward these constructed selves — not to get rid of them, but to notice that identity is not fixed. Who we are is not a static truth but a fluid, unfolding process. Beneath the familiar roles and labels, something more spacious often waits to be recognised — a sense of self that is more aligned, more alive, and less bound.
dynamics can shape how we relate to ourselves and others in ways we may not fully see. It can feel frightening or disloyal to look at these bonds closely — yet doing so with compassion can be a powerful act of care. I support clients in feeling into how these early relationships live in them now, gently loosening what no longer serves, and making space for something new to emerge.
I’m interested in how we show up in relationships — with others and with ourselves. Often, we repeat patterns that made sense in the past but now feel limiting or painful. Therapy can help bring awareness to these dynamics, allowing more choice, presence, and intimacy to become possible.
Sexuality can be a vibrant expression of aliveness — not separate from the rest of who we are, but intimately connected to our vitality, creativity, and presence. Yet for many, this area is layered with shame, confusion, or silence. I offer a space where all aspects of sexuality — including fluidity, uncertainty, longing, or absence — can be explored without judgement. At its root, sexuality is not only about preference or behaviour, but a current of life itself, asking to be met with curiosity, respect, and care.
Trauma is not just what happened, but what got stuck in us as a result. I work slowly and carefully, attending to the body, emotions and nervous system. Together we can find ways to feel safer, more connected, and less caught in the past.
