My approach combines both systemic and spiritual techniques for conceptualisation and treatment. It seeks to address client, couple and family contexts and relationships through engaging mind, body and soul.
I am a family and systemic psychotherapist in private practice with extensive experience working with individuals, couples and families. I am also an Islamic psychologist in training with both Cambridge Muslim College and the Khalil Centre.
I have experience of working in inpatient, outpatient, residential, criminal justice, children’s social care as well as community settings supporting both adults and young. As co-founder and co-facilitator of the Community of Practice and AFT Diversity Working Groups on Spirituality and Religion my clinical and research interests lie in advocating for the needs of diverse social groups and the systemic training of faith and Muslim communities. I am currently in the second year of my doctorate in systemic practice at the University of Bedfordshire.
