I am a qualified Psychotherapist and Psychotherapeutic Counsellor ( CTA-P) and Supervisor. I hold a Diploma in Clinical Supervision, a MSc in Transactional Analysis Psychotherapy, a MA in Psychology or Religion and a Diploma in Psychotherapeutic Counselling and Psychotherapy.
I am a registered member of the UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP), the International Association of Relational Transactional Analysis (IARTA), and the European Association of Transactional Analysis (EATA).
I have over 20 years of experience working therapeutically within complex needs and enduring mental health issue settings and a genuine passion for mental health accessibility and social justice.
My Core Philosophy
Integrative & Relational Framework: I blend holistic approaches, primarily Transactional Analysis and Psychodynamic methods, adapting them to your needs. This relational focus addresses how your relationships shape your experiences and patterns.
Anti-Oppressive & Inclusive Practice
Trauma-Informed & Decolonial: I recognize how systemic forces (racism, capitalism, transphobia, etc.) impact mental health, exploring internalized beliefs and moving beyond survival modes.
Welcoming & Affirming: My practice is neuro-inclusive, LGBTQ+ affirming, trans-expansive, and non-ableist. All are welcome here.
Modalities & Techniques
Creative Expression: Utilizing movement, sound, visual arts, breath, and stillness when words fall short.
Embodiment: Practices specifically designed to support trauma healing.
Intuition & Empowerment: Valuing your inner wisdom and lived experience, drawing on personal/ancestral resources and folklore to build confidence and self-trust.
Collective Care: Exploring the role of community and shared experience in the healing process.
