I know that imagining a therapy journey can be daunting as life events can leave a lasting legacy that can make it difficult for us to know where to begin. When you make the first step you can soon realise that therapy is a shared venture, whereby you can explore your difficulties in a calm, empathic and compassionate space. As part of a relational Gestalt approach, I can work with you to raise your awareness of your experiences and how they resonate with your wider life themes: this can support you to relate to yourself with a sense of self acceptance, gain new skills in self-regulation and enjoy a more meaningful connection with others. The difficulties that brought you into therapy can often be newly understood which can give you more clarity in relating and acting in the many spheres of your life!
I am a Gestalt Psychotherapist who works with individual adults: I hold an MSc and Clinical Diploma in Gestalt Psychotherapy from the Metanoia Institute: I have also just completed further professional training in Somatic Trauma Therapy. I have 7 years of clinical experience in a variety of contexts and during that time I have worked with people experiencing difficulties such as trauma, bereavement, depression, anxiety, stress, family issues and emotional disturbances.
