I work relationally. The therapeutic relationship between client and therapist is at the centre of my practice. I use all my many years of experience, professionalism and education to inform my work as a relational therapist.
I am a UKCP Registered Psychotherapist with 23 years of working in the arena of mental health. I work face to face or virtually. I offer therapy, supervision and training. I have a wealth of experience in short term and long term therapy. My experience includes working within the NHS for 15 years, lecturing for a university for 5 years and running my own private practice for over 20 years. I offer therapy, supervision and training. My masters degree is in Transactional Analysis (CTA, PTSTA, MSc Psychotherapy). I have many other additional qualifications (please visit my website). I have an over ten years of experience of working within the fostering arena (current role - Head of Therapeutic Fostering Services) supporting therapeutic work with children who have experienced adversity (trauma). Like all UKCP registered psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors I can work with a wide range of issues, but here are some areas in which I have a special interest or additional experience.
