As an Integrative Counselling Psychologist and Psychotherapist, I draw upon a variety of psychological approaches to suit the individual needs of each client. I value the importance of the therapeutic relationship between the therapist and client to provide a safe space to explore both past and present experiences. It is through this exploration that individuals can gain a greater understanding of themselves and their relationships to bring about change.
Coming to therapy can be a daunting experience, but please feel free to contact me if you have any queries or to arrange a free initial consultation. In the initial consultation we would discuss what your current needs are and together we can decide if I am the right therapist for you.
I am a Counselling Psychologist and Psychotherapist with over fifteen years experience, currently working as a Senior Therapist and Joint Counselling Lead within the NHS, alongside my private practice. I have experience of working in the NHS, voluntary and private sectors, with a range of clients and issues, such as depression, anxiety, bereavement and relationship difficulties. In my NHS work I have specialist experience in perinatal mental health offering psychological support to individuals and couples who have experienced pregnancy loss, birth trauma and postnatal depression.
Like all UKCP registered psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors I can work with a wide range of issues, but here are some areas in which I have a special interest or additional experience.
