I have worked all my professional life with children, young people and their families or adults to support their health and well being; initially as a nurse, and then as a Counsellor, prior to training as an Integrative Child Psychotherapist (MA). I have significant experience of working in health and education (primary and secondary) as a therapist. I have worked in several different schools and managed a team of therapists working in schools throughout West Sussex. My professional experience has provided me with experience, and skills, working with children and adults from all sections of society, often at times of significant difficulties, as they required nursing or therapeutic interventions. Throughout my career I have always endeavoured to work with the team around the client holistically and endeavoured to engage with all families including those hard to engage. I have management and professional supervision skills both of qualified and unqualified staff. I have significant experience in therapeutic groups and co ran a peer support team at a secondary school. I have consistently shared my experience and knowledge both formally and informally with staff and parents/carers.
