I understand it can be hard to approach therapy for the first time, or maybe you are currently in need of support during an uncertain time or are feeling distressed. It can feel difficult knowing where to start. We would work together to explore your feelings, thoughts and behaviours so you can better understand yourself and others. Psychotherapy can support you and give you understanding about your emotional responses to life events and the skills to cope in times of stress. I can offer you a safe and confidential space, where you can begin to make sense of your feelings and to identify how you would like to move forward. I am trained to work at a deeper level to assist with how your current difficulties are shaped by past experiences.
I offer open ended psychotherapy in person or online, once weekly.
I am trained in and can provide time limited psychodynamic psychotherapy (12 sessions) Please do get in touch for us to arrange a brief call to understand more about your requirements.
I am a professional and qualified psychodynamic psychotherapist with full registration with the UKCP and British Psychoanalytic Council (BPC) Psychotherapy. I trained at WPF therapy, one of the country's leading and most respected training institutions for Psychodynamic Psychotherapists. I work in private practice in St Albans, Hertfordshire and London. I provide in person or online therapy sessions. Alongside my private practice I work as a Psychodynamic Psychotherapist for The Counselling Foundation, a charity which provides professional counselling and psychotherapy services to adults and BACP accredited counselling training across Hertfordshire and Bedfordshire.
Like all UKCP registered psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors I can work with a wide range of issues, but here are some areas in which I have a special interest or additional experience.
