At my core, I am empathic and kind which is blended with a straight talking and creative approach. I have a firm commitment to working with clients in interesting, effective and engaging ways. This can often include using a wide range of art materials to help explore unconscious thoughts and feelings. I am also training as an IFS practioner and have completed official IFS Level 1 training.
I am able to work with individuals of different cultures, genders, sexual orientation and age, as well as groups and within a corporate setting. I have a large studio space with several rooms, allowing clients to play, move around and express themselves (if they want to).
If you are interested in working with me have a look at my website louiseperry.com and do get in touch for a free chat and we can both see how the chemistry between us feels.
I specialise in helping people who are struggling with stress, anxiety, low self-esteem, relationship difficulties, bereavement and all forms of addiction. Having grown up in a dysfunctional family in deep South London, and battling with my own demons, I decided to change from a creative career in a fast pace advertising agency and retrain as a psychotherapist. My core training is an Art Psychotherapist which simply means that I have extra tools to help clients express their innermost feelings and difficulities.
Like all UKCP registered psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors I can work with a wide range of issues, but here are some areas in which I have a special interest or additional experience.
