My work is informed by the following psychotherapeutic approaches: Person-Centred, Psychodynamic, Attachment Theory, Object Relations, Gestalt, Transactional Analysis, Integrative Arts, Janina Fisher Structural Dissociation Model, Internal Family System, Family Constellations, Somatic Experiencing, Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, and other somatic approaches. The way I practise is at its core relational and all I offer is tailored around each individual's unique needs and consequent to their agreement. Taking a collaborative stance, my aim is to empower clients as much as possible. I therefore will share resources, psychoeducation, and any knowledge that can help my clients move forward.
I am a warm-hearted integrative arts and somatic psychotherapist. My work is trauma informed and my clinical experience includes: complex trauma, PTSD & CPTSD, addiction, co-dependence, narcissistic abuse, sexual problems, stress, anxiety, depression, anger management, compulsive behaviours, bereavement, grief, the LGBTQ+ community, low self-esteem and shame, racial trauma, attachment issues and disorders, dissociation and dissociative disorders, BPD, psychosis, self-harm and suicidality.
Like all UKCP registered psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors I can work with a wide range of issues, but here are some areas in which I have a special interest or additional experience.
