My approach is warm and reflective, helping you make sense of what’s happening at your own pace, without judgement or expectation. I aim to offer a therapeutic relationship in which you feel heard, understood, and supported.
I draw on humanistic, psychodynamic, and relational approaches to support your personal exploration of feelings, relationships, hopes, and fears. Together, we can work towards a way forward that feels more manageable and authentic, with a greater sense of clarity and hope.
In our first session, we can talk about what has brought you to therapy and consider whether working together feels like the right fit for you.
Alongside reflection on life experiences, I also use practical tools, where helpful, in navigating anxiety, low mood, or depression.
An important part of my practice is an awareness of cultural, sexual, gender, and social diversity, and how these may shape all of our experiences.
I am an integrative psychotherapist offering a calm, supportive space to explore life’s challenges, whether rooted in past experiences, present struggles, or uncertainty about the future.
I offer psychotherapy for:
Anxiety and worry
Feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or disconnected
Life transitions and identity changes
Loss, grief, and bereavement
Low mood and depression
Relationship difficulties and break-ups
Self-esteem and confidence issues
Previously, I worked at the Helen Rollason Cancer Charity at Herts & Essex Hospital, providing counselling to cancer patients and their families at all stages of treatment, including survivorship and palliative care. I have also volunteered as a bereavement counsellor with the City & East London Bereavement Service in Tower Hamlets, supporting individuals navigating grief and loss.
I hold an MA in Advanced Clinical Practice in Psychotherapy from The Minster Centre, validated by Middlesex University.
Originally from Yorkshire, I have lived and worked in London for over 30 years. Before training as a psychotherapist, I worked as a producer and studio manager in photography and advertising. Alongside my clinical training, this life experience shapes my work, bringing curiosity, creativity, and an understanding of the challenges, transitions, and relationships that can unfold across adult life.
When life feels uncertain or overwhelming, I aim to offer a thoughtful, steady, and compassionate presence.
