My Approach

As an integrative psychotherapist, I draw and incorporate ideas from various approaches that best suit the needs of my clients as I believe no one approach is fit for all. I chose to become an integrative psychotherapist because the approach depicts my beliefs, values, personality, and openness to diversity and to the issues of differences.
I work in collaboration, which means I involve my clients in all aspects and processes. We work together, we discover together, we learn together, so clients get to understand how they relate with themselves and with others. Working in collaboration also means negotiating and mutually agreeing on ways of working that are suitable for everyone involved with the process. I work in a relational and conversational manner and see myself as part of this therapeutic process and find it rewarding that I also learn about myself in this process. I provide a safe, non-judgemental space and environment where my clients can explore their experiences whether individually, as a couple or within the family.

Psychotherapy and counselling should be a safe, empathetic, and non-judgmental space where remarkable conversations take place, exploration occurs, discovery happens, the unconscious becomes conscious, and awareness develops. It’s a space where we learn to take responsibility, set boundaries, and learn to view ourselves and others through new lens.

Whatever your experiences are, I believe growth, change, and healing can occur through being seen and heard in a safe environment when you find the right therapist that fits your needs.

I offer a 20-minute free telephone consultation, where we can both ask each other some questions and get some ideas about the process of therapy and your needs.
If you feel my approach is right for you, then we sign a therapy agreement.
