My theoretical orientation is Integrative, Psychodynamic and Systemic, and I am familiar with a wide variety of psychotherapeutic tools, including arts based forms of exploration, and CBT.
I have been practicing as a psychotherapist for 25 years and have a wealth of experience with many types of individuals and families. I have particular expertise in working with internationally mobile families and those with children in international schools. My doctoral research was an exploration of the mental health of young people in independent schools, and every year I organise a conference for therapists, school counsellors, school administrators, youth agencies and the wider public to examine the effects of 'privilege' during adolescence and its developmental legacy within fee-paying secondary education in Britain.
Like all UKCP registered psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors I can work with a wide range of issues, but here are some areas in which I have a special interest or additional experience.
