I am an Integrative therapist, who prefers to use a supportive and strengths-based approach to therapy. I have in depth experience of working with a wide range of clients, both adults and children, in both the voluntary, public, and private sector. I believe that the therapeutic safe space is a unique opportunity for my clients to be fully heard and understood, to learn about themselves. to heal, and grow. You are the expert on you, so we will work in a collaborative way together . I may suggest interventions, but you are in the driving seat , and you decide if you want to use them.
I use a wide range of interventions including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Psychodynamic, Transactional Analysis, Hypnotherapy, Mindfulness, Journaling, and Creative ideas underpinned by both Person-Centred Approaches and Positive Psychology to work towards a happier, meaningful, more authentic life, where I hope that my clients can truly accept and celebrate who they are and have the self awareness and tools to overcome any of life's challenges or difficult experiences. I enjoy using Psycho Education and my clients seem to find these sessions useful. I work always within professional and ethical guidelines. You will not be judged, and I will support you throughout our relationship, and with any specific goals of therapy that you may have.
