My Approach

Psychodynamic therapy effectively addresses issues such as depression, anxiety, and stress.

Whether you have experienced a recent life stressor, such as a significant loss, or relationship-breakdown or you are navigating a particularly difficult period of transition, or perhaps you are feeling trapped or weighed down by a general sense of dissatisfaction, loneliness, or unease, whatever it is, psychodynamic therapy can act as a catalyst for lasting and meaningful change and repair.

Psychodynamic therapy not only focusses on the here-and-now, but it also asks us to look inward and to our past. Our early experiences can have a subtle but powerful influence on the lives we live as adults, impacting our self-esteem and our sense of well-being. Looking back can help you better understand the nature of your difficulties and the origins of certain self-limiting or destructive thoughts and behaviours, enabling you to cultivate self-awareness, reconnect with your inner resources and break free from unhelpful patterns.

I have worked with clients of a variety of ages and from a broad range of backgrounds and cultures. I am committed to working with curiosity and care, in confidence and without judgement and in a calm and collaborative environment. If you are interested in the possibility of working together, please get in touch via email and we can set up a short, obligation-free telephone call.

I can help with:

- Anxiety, panic and stress
- Depression and low mood
- Gender and sexuality
- Grief and loss
- Family
- Issues with identity
- Personality disorders
- Neurodiversity
- Relationship and attachment issues
- Self harm and suicidal ideation
- Trauma and abuse
