Psychotherapy is a longer term therapy and the way I practice focuses on exploring your 'self'. We would look at your relational patterns and behaviour with others and with yourself. Your early experiences in childhood and how they have shaped you, trauma in the many forms it can present and anything else that feels important or arises for you as we journey together.
I describe the way I work as a curious deep dive, where we look to explore and understand ourselves better and our connection to others and the world. I believe this promotes healing and growth.
The therapy is led by you, so we go at your pace and discuss whatever feels comfortable for you. I won't force you to explore anything you aren't ready to explore, and I won't be prescriptive. My role is to guide, support and empower you on your healing journey.
As a humanistic integrative psychotherapist, I can draw on a range of different approaches, depending on your personal journey.
Every client is different, so when we get to know each other and I can find out more about the difficulties you are facing, I can tailor my approach to your unique circumstances. This way, you can be sure that you are getting the therapy that is best suited to your needs.
My fee is £65 per session. If we work together, you will commit to a weekly session which lasts 50 minutes.
I am a fully qualified Humanistic Integrative Psychotherapist (MA, Dip HIP), providing in-person psychotherapy for individual adults (18+) over a short term and long term basis. Together we can work in a safe, confidential, and non-judgemental space so you can explore the challenges you are facing, gain deeper insight and understanding about yourself, deepen your connections with yourself and others and work towards fulfilling your full potential.
I have eight years’ experience working with individuals and have helped many clients work through their past traumas, develop healthier more authentic relationships with themselves and others, and become more self-aware and grounded.
I have always been highly curious and interested in people, discovering that my warm nature and inquisitiveness often enabled people to open up and share deeply with me. For me, becoming a psychotherapist has been an extension of my personality and skills, as well as a deep calling and what I have found to be my soul’s purpose in life. I truly believe in the transformative power of therapy, and that we should all engage in therapy from time to time, so we continue to stay true to our core selves.
I work from a private and comfortable therapy room in Melksham, Wiltshire. There is parking available.
My practice is accessible from Bath, Trowbridge, Devizes, Chippenham, Calne, Corsham, Bradford on Avon and the surrounding areas.
Like all UKCP registered psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors I can work with a wide range of issues, but here are some areas in which I have a special interest or additional experience.
