I am dedicated to co-creating a therapeutic environment that fosters safety, compassion, and non-judgemental for the individuals and couples I work with. Through my approach, I strive to provide them with a deeper understanding of the underlying meaning behind their challenges while exploring possibilities for positive change. By helping individuals and couples identify and address negative behavioural patterns that contribute to unhelpful interaction cycles, I facilitate an experience that supports their relationship with self and others to move towards a more secure and fulfilling state.
Having worked in the diverse and multicultural areas of London for the past 15 years, I have cultivated a strong appetite for continual learning, understanding, and ethical practices. I recognise the importance of acknowledging and respecting the intersectionality of difference. Embracing this perspective, I wholeheartedly welcome the opportunity to work with individuals and couples from diverse backgrounds, encompassing a wide range of identity types. Valuing and celebrating these differences is at the core of both my personal and professional ethos.
My personal and professional outlook is deeply influenced by the tapestry of my intersectional identities. As a Black man, born and raised in the Caribbean, with a family story spanning three continents, I bring a unique perspective to my work. This diverse background enhances my ability to connect with and support individuals and couples from various cultural and identity backgrounds. In summary, my highest priority is to co-create a therapeutic space that is safe, non-blaming, and non-judgemental.
