Katherine is an experienced person centred therapist who has completed an MSc in Person Centered Psychotherapy with UKCP accreditation (MSc UKCP). She also holds a Psychology MSc with BPS registration (MSc BPS). Most commonly Katherine works with mood disorders such as anxiety and depression, and with questions of identity, and interpersonal relating. She has experience with a range of presenting issues and works creatively to meet the needs of each person. In addition to her private practice, Katherine has experience working across a number of NHS Trusts.
Understanding each persons unique experience is the starting point for therapy. Katherine achieves through a non-judgemental relationship that is based on openness and allows for mutual exploration. This exploration is different for each person but often includes challenge and working on the edge of what is comfortable.
The process of therapy can lead to therapeutic growth including greater self-understanding, changes in behaviour, new ways of coping, and improved well-being.
Katherine is fully qualified and accredited. She adheres to the ethical standards and codes of conduct of UKCP.
