I hold a BSc (Hons) in Integrative Psychotherapeutic Counselling. I meet with clients weekly in-person in Cambridge city centre
An initial session is offered with no fee to explore what you are looking for in therapy, find out how I work, and see if we are a good fit.
I integrate psychodynamic and humanistic theory with developmental & attachment theories as ways of understanding relational patterns, unconscious processes, and how the past informs the present.
An overarching approach of mindful awareness supports self-exploration and greater self-awareness, enabling you to ultimately know and trust yourself more.
Therapy can help you to process your difficulties and feel more connected, allowing for a greater sense of freedom in everyday life.
I bring kindness and curiosity to our work together, creating a supportive and collaborative space where we can begin to make meaning of your experience. As we reflect on your past and present, your relational patterns, and your ways of being in the world, space can be created to process your thoughts and emotions and to explore new perspectives. By encouraging an interest in your feelings in the present moment and the truth of your immediate experience, I nurture self-acceptance and self-compassion.
I work relationally, whereby the relationship we develop together is key to therapeutic change.
Like all UKCP registered psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors I can work with a wide range of issues, but here are some areas in which I have a special interest or additional experience.
