Therapy is different for each person. It can be a space of exploration, understanding, deepening awareness, change, focus and solutions. Or it can be a space to simply talk and be.
For me the relationship between therapist and client is at the heart of therapy and I am guided by this in my work. I work holistically with every individual, responding empathically and intuitively to what is brought into the space, seeking to build awareness through questions and reflections.
As an integrative psychotherapist I have been trained in and practice using a range of therapeutic models, adapting my approach according to the needs of each person. My areas of integration include Transactional Analysis, Relational, Person Centred, Psychodynamic, Jungian, Gestalt, Existential and creative mediums.
Working with young adults and adults for short and long-term timeframes, I seek to create a supportive and non-judgemental space where a person can express themselves fully, being seen and heard for who they are, enabling them to connect to themselves, develop understanding and work through challenges faced.
